Residential Rounding Retreat at Garrison

When the dates for our next Weekend Rounding Retreat have been confirmed we encourage you to make time for a few days of deep rest and purification. These weekends are extremely popular and sell out quickly. This is one of the best ways to fast-track your development—one weekend retreat can deliver the benefits of three to six months of regular twice-a-day meditation.

The Meditation Program

The weekend centers on the process of ’rounding’. Rounding involves a simple sequence of yoga positions, or Asanas, that are easy to learn and can be practiced by anyone, followed by a specific breathing technique called Pranayama. When this combination is added to your meditation the result is an ‘industrial-strength’ program designed to enhance the restfulness of meditation and to release the deepest stresses.

The Lectures

One of the highlights of a weekend retreat is the opportunity to explore in more depth the knowledge that accompanies our meditation practice. These lively talks delve into practical topics like relationships, managing change, and finding balance in life.

The Venue

Less than two hours from Manhattan, Garrison is an old monastery on the banks of the Hudson.

I want to thank you for an amazing weekend. I have to say, it was nothing like I expected and has definitely brought me to a new space. I feel much more connected on the whole.
-Yvette

I never anticipated getting so much out of the retreat – the inspirational talks and open-ended discussions have challenged my views about a range of things and rounding has not only brought my meditations back on track but to a higher, more meaningful level. Thank you both for sharing so generously this incredible knowledge and for making it so easily accessible.
